Jo Taylor-Jones

Jo Taylor-Jones is a Senior Lecturer in the BA (Hons) Humanistic Counselling program at the University of Chichester. She holds an MA in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and a PgDip in Person-Centred Counselling (now Humanistic) from the University of Brighton. Her research focuses on the impact of coincidental resonances in client-counsellor dynamics, explored through Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (IPA).

Prior to joining the University of Chichester in 2018, she taught subjects such as Brief Therapy, comparative counselling theories, and research analysis across various higher education and counselling institutions. She also provided counselling services and led psychoeducational workshops at a Hampshire university for seven years. Jo is a BACP-registered counsellor with a private practice.

Her expertise spans humanistic approaches, therapeutic modalities, and applied research in counselling education.
