Jo Briggs

Dr Jo Briggs is a Senior Lecturer in User Experience at the School of Digital Arts (SODA), Manchester Metropolitan University. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on human-digital interaction, co-creative methodologies, and participatory design within Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). She holds a MSc in Multimedia Systems from Trinity College Dublin and a collaborative doctoral award from Ulster University, exploring digital cultural literacies in post-conflict Northern Ireland. Briggs has led over a dozen cross-disciplinary projects addressing online privacy, trust, and ethical design, with grants totaling over £1.8 million from EPSRC, ESRC, and AHRC.
