Education:
- BA in Education, Arizona State University

Her artistic research explores themes of domesticity, industrial decline, and personal history, particularly through her acclaimed series DOG Town and Vanity + Consolation. These works examine the psychological and emotional landscapes of working-class life, using portraiture and interior scenes to reflect on memory, estrangement, and identity. Her photographs are not merely documentary but serve as elegiac meditations on loss, belonging, and reconciliation.
The selected publications and upcoming monograph Wood River / Blue Pool indicate a sustained engagement with visual storytelling, memory, and the symbolic power of landscape. Her works often merge personal narrative with broader cultural commentary, especially around gender, labor, and regional identity in the American Midwest. The themes reflect a deep introspection and artistic commitment to understanding the human condition through photographic means.
