Dr. Jinsil Kim is an Associate Professor of Management at The College of New Jersey's School of Business. Her research focuses on corporate strategy, global governance, and anti-corruption mechanisms. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Texas at Dallas (2017), an MBA from ESSEC (2012), and advanced degrees in International Studies from Seoul National University (2013) and Cedarville University (2009).
Her work examines firm-government relationships, regulatory compliance, and ethical dilemmas in international business contexts. Notable studies include analyzing investor reactions to FCPA violations, media scrutiny's impact on lobbying strategies, and bribery's strategic implications. She has published in top journals like Strategic Management Journal and Journal of International Business Studies.
Kim serves on multiple committees within TCNJ, including the Assessment of Learning Committee and Search Committee. Her research received the Best Paper Award at the 2021 Southern Management Association Conference.
