Jing Ma

Jing Ma is the Timothy E. and Allison L. Schroeder Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the Department of Computer and Data Sciences at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). Her research focuses on trustworthy AI, causal machine learning, graph learning, large language models (LLMs), and AI applications in critical societal domains like healthcare and law. She received her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Virginia (2023), and bachelor's/master's degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2015/2018).

Recent work includes causal benchmarks (e.g., Causal3D), fairness-aware graph learning systems (PygDeBias), and surveys on LLMs in critical domains. She has published widely at top venues like NeurIPS (Oral), KDD, AAAI, and ACL.
