Jing Li is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Tufts University, affiliated with the School of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on environmental economics, energy policy, and regulatory frameworks. She holds a PhD from Harvard University (2017), an MA from Harvard (2014), and a BA from MIT (2011).
Her work examines topics such as political influences on renewable energy adoption, pandemic impacts on energy systems, and market dynamics in transportation and fuel sectors. Recent publications address regulatory collusion in environmental policy and cost structures for alternative fuels like ethanol.
Teaching responsibilities include courses on Energy Markets, with roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. Her research combines empirical analysis with policy evaluation, emphasizing practical implications for sustainable development.
