Jindong Wu is a Professor and Director of the Center for Remote Sensing and Environmental Analysis at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). He holds a Ph.D. and Master of GIS from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, an M.S. in Meteorology from the Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences, and a B.S. in Meteorology from Nanjing Institute of Meteorology. His research focuses on remote sensing applications for environmental assessment, land-use dynamics, human-environment interactions, climate change impacts, and terrestrial ecosystem processes.
Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses such as GEOG 110 (Introduction to the Natural Environment), GEOG 328 (Global Change and Environmental Systems), GEOG 486 (Environmental Remote Sensing), and GEOG 489 (Digital Image Processing). At the graduate level, he teaches GEOG 520 (Seminar in Physical Geography) and GEOG 530T (Monitoring Ecosystem Processes).
