Jim Henderson

Jim Henderson is an adjunct instructor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Ohio University’s Russ College of Engineering and Technology. He holds an MBA from Ohio Dominican University (2010) and a Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Systems from Capital University (2000). His expertise includes Six Sigma methodologies, Lean Manufacturing, and process optimization, gained through 18 years at PACCAR Inc., where he served as Unit Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Master Black Belt at the Kenworth Plant in Chillicothe, Ohio. He trained hundreds of specialists globally and contributed to cost-saving initiatives valued in the millions.

Academic Contributions:

• Co-developed Ohio University’s Six Sigma initiative by training faculty and mentoring undergraduate students.
• Provided real-world insights to senior design projects through his role as a Master Black Belt.

Research & Experience: Focuses on integrating manufacturing efficiency strategies with academic curricula. His work emphasizes practical applications of financial methodologies and continuous improvement practices in industrial contexts.

Personal: Resides in Zanesville, Ohio, with his family.
