Jim Guedo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Theatre at MacEwan University's Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications. Holding a BA from the University of Saskatchewan, he has over 44 years of professional theatre experience and joined MacEwan in 2011 after serving as Associate Professor at the University of Saskatchewan's Drama Department.

- Key Committees: Academic Titling Committee, Curriculum Committee, BFA Planning Committee, and Faculty Association Policy Review Committee
His research focuses on organic drama pedagogy, emphasizing safe environments for risk-taking in performance training. He specializes in converting mental processes into repeatable physical techniques for storytelling.
Jim has received multiple Sterling Awards (Edmonton) for direction, production, and set design, along with regional recognition in Saskatchewan. His work spans both academic and professional theatre across Canada.
