Professor Jillian MacBryde is a leading academic in innovation and operations management at the University of Strathclyde's Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship. She holds the position of Associate Principal for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise, emphasizing her strategic role in fostering innovation across the institution. Her research focuses on organizational adaptation in changing environments, particularly in manufacturing, digital technologies, and sustainability.
Key projects include leadership of the ESRC Made Smarter Network Plus (InterAct), aiming to integrate social science insights into digital technology adoption for manufacturing resilience.
