Professor Teck Yong Eng is a Visiting Professor and Head of Henley Business School at the University of Reading Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Management Sciences from UMIST and has over 15 years of academic leadership experience across Russell Group and international branch campuses. His research focuses on enhancing SME performance through big data analytics, supply chain innovation, and entrepreneurship in uncertain environments. He leads the Centre for Global Business Enterprise and Cloud Analytics (CGBECA), promoting data-driven solutions for businesses. Prof. Eng has secured significant grants, including an ERC FP7 award for nanotechnology research.
Education: BSc (Surrey), MSc by Research (UMIST), PhD (Management Sciences, UMIST).
Research Interests: Big data analytics applications in auditing and pricing, IoT-driven supply chain management, women entrepreneurship resilience, and supply chain innovative capabilities. He bridges theoretical frameworks with practical solutions for SMEs through administrative science and management studies.
Award Recognition: Recipient of multi-million Euro ERC FP7 grant. His work has been published in top-tier journals like Journal of Business Research and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.
