Jill Morris

Jill K. Morris, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Her work focuses on understanding the role of energy metabolism in Alzheimer's Disease and cognitively healthy aging. She also holds administrative roles as Assistant Director of the KU Alzheimer's Disease Research Center Biomarker Core and Director of the KU Alzheimer's Disease Center Developmental Projects Program.

Dr. Morris' research investigates how systemic and brain energy metabolism can serve as early markers for Alzheimer's Disease and explores interventions to modify metabolism for prevention and treatment. Her work aligns with the University of Kansas Alzheimer's Disease Research Center's mission in discovery, clinical trials, and lifestyle interventions.
