Dr. Jill Cochran is a Professor of Mathematics Education and Director of Teacher Education at Berry College. She also directs the STEMTeach program, which recruits STEM majors into teacher certification. Her research focuses on STEM teacher philosophical development, integrating 3D printing into math curricula, and STEM topics in teacher training. She holds a B.S. from Southern Utah University and a Ph.D. from Texas State University.
Dr. Cochran oversees teacher preparation programs and school partnerships. Her work emphasizes bridging theory and practice through innovative teaching methods like 3D printing applications in geometry. The STEMTeach program under her leadership aims to strengthen STEM education through certified teachers skilled in modern pedagogies.
