Ellice Curry-Tucker is a Lecturer in the Department of Teacher Education at Berry College. She holds an Ed.S. in Curriculum & Instruction, M.Ed. in Middle Grades Math and Science, and B.S. in Chemistry, all from Berry College, along with a Montessori Adolescent Teaching Certification. With 20 years of classroom experience, she has taught grades 4-9, emphasizing holistic education aligned with Montessori principles. Her work includes developing place-based curricula and leading community-focused projects like the BCEMS Organic Orchard and collaborations with Berry professors on STEM initiatives. She has mentored teacher education students and led student trips to culturally and ecologically diverse locations, fostering community engagement and environmental stewardship.
