Jie Liu is a Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Social Sciences, and Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies at Waseda University. Holding a Doctor of Literature from the University of Tokyo, he specializes in East Asian history, focusing on Japanese history, Sino-Japanese relations, and historical perception. His work bridges academic and policy-oriented research.
