Jie Chen is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the University of Maryland, College Park's School of Public Health. She holds a Ph.D. in Health Economics from SUNY Stony Brook (2008). Her research focuses on health disparities, particularly in healthcare access and utilization among racial/ethnic groups and immigrants, and health policy analysis emphasizing healthcare system efficiency and quality.
