Jiang Nan

Jiang Nan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and Business, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), and an Affiliated Professor at the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE). She holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Amsterdam (2020) and has previously taught at the University of Amsterdam. Her academic work bridges accounting, economics, and organizational behavior.

Her research focuses on management accounting, particularly how performance measures are used to evaluate and motivate employees. Drawing from economics and organizational theory, she employs archival data to explore topics such as subjective performance evaluation, seniority effects, and managerial responses to control systems.
