Jian Yang is a distinguished academic and researcher in finance, holding the position of Chair and Research Director at the J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities and Professor of Finance at the University of Colorado Denver. He also serves as a Research Fellow at Tsinghua University’s National Institute of Financial Research and has held visiting roles at institutions like the People’s Bank of China and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Yang holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics (Finance minor) from Texas A&M University, and additional degrees from Nankai University in China.
