Jiahui Guo is an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Dallas, affiliated with the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences. Her research focuses on the neural mechanisms of high-level cognition, leveraging neuroimaging and computational methods. She holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from Dartmouth College (2018) and a B.S. in Psychology from Beijing Normal University (2013).
Her research interests include cognitive and computational neuroscience of face recognition, social perception, and neuroimaging techniques. She explores real-world stimuli representations using tools like hyperalignment and deep learning, aiming to bridge human intelligence and artificial systems. Her work also investigates neuropsychological populations (e.g., prosopagnosia) and cross-species comparisons to understand brain development and evolution.
Dr. Guo has been recognized with awards including the Leading Women in Neuro-AI (2021) and Dartmouth Marie Center Excellence (2019). She leads the Cognitive & Computational Neuroscience (CoCo-Neuro) Lab and collaborates with institutions like IVADO and NeurIPS. She currently accepts graduate students and is active in conferences and open science initiatives.
