Ji Hyun Hong is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Korean at Emory University, affiliated with the Department of Russian and East Asian Languages and Cultures. She holds a Ph.D. in Language and Literacy Education from the University of Georgia, where she also taught Korean for three years, earning the 2023 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. Her research focuses on race and racism perceptions among Korean American youth, K-pop's role in identity formation, and anti-racist pedagogy.
