Dr. Ji Hye Lim is an Associate Professor in the Global Affairs Program at George Mason University, specializing in international and comparative political economy. Her work examines economic security, FDI, supply chains, and developmental states in East Asia, with a focus on how economic institutions shape policy and development. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science (2020) and an LL.M. in Global Antitrust Law & Economics from George Mason University, along with degrees from NYU and Ewha Womans University.
Dr. Lim’s research bridges political, economic, and social factors influencing global affairs. Recent work explores South Korea’s antitrust enforcement dynamics, East Asian reshoring strategies, and the societal impacts of pandemic responses. Her interdisciplinary approach integrates legal frameworks, economic mechanisms, and institutional analysis to understand contemporary challenges in global governance and development.
