Dr. Jesus Chavarria is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Western University, directing the RoAD Lab. He holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Florida State University and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Chicago Medical Center and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. His research focuses on risk factors for substance use disorders, particularly among marginalized groups, and developing evidence-based interventions to reduce problematic substance use behaviors.
