Jessie Williams is an Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University (SFU) in the Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. She is a citizen of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) and currently serves as Dean of Indigenous Initiatives at Vancouver Community College, advancing Indigenization initiatives and building partnerships with Indigenous communities.
