Jessie Male (she/her) is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Pittsburgh, affiliated with the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences. Her work bridges Disability Studies and Memoir, focusing on pedagogical and literary analysis. She holds an MFA in Memoir from Hunter College and a PhD in English from The Ohio State University, where her dissertation explored Disability Memoir pedagogy.

Research interests include the intersection of personal narrative with literary, rhetorical, and pedagogical analysis.
