Jessie K. Edwards

Jessie K. Edwards is an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-Chapel Hill), affiliated with the Gillings School of Global Public Health. She holds a leadership role in the Gillings School's organizational structure and contributes to its guiding statements and strategic initiatives. Her research focuses on developing quantitative methods to address data limitations in public health decision-making, with applications to HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis (TB) in the US, Dominican Republic, and East Africa.

Her work bridges epidemiologic theory and practical public health applications.
