Jessie Horning is Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Department of Art at Ohio State University. She holds an MFA in Printmaking from Ohio State (2017) and a BFA from Kutztown University (2011), with post-baccalaureate training at Bucknell University.
Her studio practice emphasizes tangible, process-driven work—drawing, printing, cutting, arranging, folding—as a counterbalance to digital saturation. Current explorations examine physicality and material constraints in art-making, contrasting with the 'boundless' nature of digital interfaces.
Horning's creative research investigates embodied interaction, spatial limitations, and analog processes in contemporary art contexts.
