Jessie B. Joyce is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Psychology at Syracuse University, part of the College of Arts and Sciences. Her academic focus is on undergraduate education, emphasizing student engagement, belonging, and foundational skill development. She mentors student-led research projects in pedagogy, self-esteem, and autobiographical memory. Her research explores how individuals reconstruct past experiences to enhance self-regulation and self-enhancement, using a social cognitive approach to study construal levels and temporal self-perception.
