Her research centers on embodied resistance, carnal phenomenology, and sensory perception (especially touch) in modern and contemporary women’s writing, with a focus on South Korean feminist literature and authors like Han Kang. She also works at the intersection of fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, and critical theory.
Her recent publications explore Han Kang’s Nobel-recognized work and the Korean diaspora in Celine Song’s Past Lives, reflecting a strong engagement with transnational feminist narratives and sensory storytelling. These works highlight interdisciplinary trends combining literary analysis, film criticism, and socio-political commentary.
Scientific Awards:
- Shortlisted for the July 2022 John Byrne Award for experimental prose poetry
