Jessica Kevill is a Postdoctoral Research Officer in Environmental Virology at Bangor University's School of Environmental & Natural Sciences. She leads the BlueAdapt project investigating sewage-borne viral risks in coastal environments under climate change. Her expertise includes molecular methods for viral detection in wastewater and environmental samples. Dr. Kevill holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Salford (2018), focusing on honeybee virus resistance. She developed SARS-CoV-2 detection techniques during the pandemic and currently explores climate impacts on viral viability in marine systems.
