Jessica Gonzalez-Voller is an Associate Professor in the Counseling and Career Development program at Colorado State University (CSU), with affiliate status in the Colorado School of Public Health. She holds a Ph.D. in counselor education from the University of Central Florida and a master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Her expertise includes multicultural counseling, client outcomes, and psychosocial interventions for underserved populations. She coordinates the Clinical Mental Health Counseling specialization within her department.
Dr. Gonzalez-Voller’s research focuses on improving therapeutic practices for marginalized groups, particularly in healthcare disparities contexts. Notable projects include longitudinal studies on multicultural competence among counselors and randomized trials evaluating mindfulness interventions for family caregivers.
