Jessica Garbern, MD, PhD, is an Instructor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and an attending physician in the Department of Cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her research focuses on translating stem cell-based therapies for cardiac regeneration, specifically targeting cardiomyocyte maturation, immune system evasion strategies, and cardiac tissue engineering. She completed her MD/PhD in bioengineering at the University of Washington, followed by clinical training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital.
