Suneet Agarwal

Suneet Agarwal is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Co-Program Leader for the Stem Cell Transplant Center at the Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. His research focuses on developing innovative therapies for genetic blood disorders using stem cell biology.

• Education: MD from Harvard Medical School, residency at Boston Combined Residency Program (BCRP), postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Children's Hospital Boston.

Research Interests: The Agarwal lab investigates genetic blood disorders by reprogramming patient skin cells into an embryonic-like state to study disease mechanisms and develop cell-based or pharmacological therapies. Key areas include telomere diseases, cellular aging, and hematopoietic failure.

Clinical Expertise: Board-certified in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics.
