Jessica Chung

Jessica Chung, MD, MPH is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellow at the Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology since August 2023. She holds expertise in managing complex maternal conditions like hypertensive disorders, diabetes, and autoimmune diseases during pregnancy.

• Clinical Focus: Genetic disorders, multiple gestations, preterm birth, high-risk obstetrics

Her research bridges public health strategies with clinical care, particularly addressing maternal hypertension, cardiac disease, obesity, infectious disease, and opiate dependence in pregnancy. Past work includes epidemiological research at the CDC in Nigeria and China.

She contributes to publications on patient-centered care policies and HIV treatment outcomes, with a clinical emphasis on underserved communities globally.

Labs/Teams: Affiliated with the Maternal Fetal Care Center at Froedtert Specialty Clinics, she collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to improve prenatal care through virtual visit innovations and transvaginal cerclage techniques.
