Dr. Anna Palatnik is an Associate Professor and the Patrick J. and Margaret G. McMahon Endowed Chair in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She specializes in maternal-fetal medicine, focusing on high-risk obstetrics, fetal growth restriction, and prenatal diagnosis. Her research explores cardiovascular outcomes in pregnancy, hypertension-related complications, and racial disparities in maternal health. She has received awards for teaching excellence, including the Northwestern University Best Residents’ Teacher Award (2016) and the MCW Medical Students Teaching Award (2012).

Research Interests: Dr. Palatnik investigates clinical obstetrics, fetal growth restriction, and congenital heart disease diagnosis. Her work emphasizes improving maternal cardiovascular health postpartum and addressing disparities in healthcare access for marginalized populations. Current grants include projects on gestational diabetes pharmacotherapy (NIH R01) and social determinants of maternal morbidity (NICHD U54).
