Jennifer Jury McIntosh

Dr. Jennifer Jury McIntosh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, specializing in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She joined MCW in 2015 after roles at the University of Oklahoma. Her clinical expertise includes managing high-risk pregnancies, preterm birth, cervical insufficiency, and hematologic disorders. She performs procedures like cerclage and aneuploidy screening. Dr. McIntosh holds a DO from Michigan State University (2007), completed residency at Indiana University (2011), and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at the University of Oklahoma (2014), earning a Master’s in Clinical and Translational Science during her fellowship.

Her research focuses on preterm birth mechanisms, progesterone metabolism, and preeclampsia linked to mitochondrial damage. She leads the McIntosh Lab, exploring endothelial dysfunction in pregnancy complications. Notable awards include Excellence in Teaching (2014) and recognition for teaching during residency (2008-2011). She actively contributes to professional committees, including the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine’s Preterm Birth Bundle Committee and the Perinatal Quality Foundation Education Committee.

Dr. McIntosh sees patients at Froedtert Hospital’s Maternal Fetal Care Center and other perinatology clinics.
