Jessica Browne

Dr. Jessica Browne is a Lecturer in the Department of Human Sciences at Southern Cross University's Faculty of Health. She holds dual Bachelor of Biomedical Science degrees (Honours and CQU) and a PhD from Central Queensland University. Her research focuses on molecular microbiology and immunology, particularly host-microbe interactions in otitis media and respiratory diseases, aiming to develop effective vaccines and treatments.

Teaching & Supervision: Teaches Immunology, Microbiology, and Clinical Microbiology. Supervises research on anti-inflammatory compounds for respiratory diseases. Serves as a Visiting Researcher at Griffith University (Gold Coast).
