Jonas Ahl is an Associate Professor of Clinical Microbiology at Lund University, affiliated with the Clinical Infection Medicine department in Malmö. He holds roles as a Specialist Physician and Affiliated Researcher at Infect@LU. His research focuses on respiratory tract infections, particularly Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae, with emphasis on community-acquired pneumonia epidemiology and pathogenesis. He has contributed to 33 peer-reviewed publications and supervised multiple doctoral theses.
