Jesse Mossholder is an Associate Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where he has taught since 2021. He specializes in teacher preparation with a focus on equity, mental health, and trauma-informed practices. Mossholder developed the trauma and resilience graduate teaching certificate and co-leads the Full STEAM Ahead summer program for middle school students. His work emphasizes proactive student support through weekly mental health check-ins and referrals to campus resources.

His interdisciplinary approach connects educational foundations with social-emotional learning and STEM pedagogy.
His scholarly output includes conference presentations on SEL in STEM education and publications on emerging educational technologies, with recent work exploring AI perceptions among educators across multiple disciplines.

As co-adviser for Aspiring Educators, Mossholder mentors future teachers and develops professional pathways. Mossholder leads the Educational Foundations teaching team and collaborates with Counseling Services to implement student well-being protocols. His community partnerships include refugee support programs through the Ethiopian Community Development Council.
