Jesse Ash

Jesse Ash is an artist, researcher, and educator at the Royal College of Art (RCA) within the School of Arts & Humanities. He has been actively involved with the RCA for over seven years, contributing to sustainability initiatives through roles in the Environmental Sustainability Steering Group and Committee.

• Research focuses on political ecology, creative responses to the climate crisis, and interdisciplinary engagement with evolving landscapes.
• PhD from Goldsmiths College, London (2010), with a focus on the political agency of rumour.

His practice integrates painting, collage, performance, and ecological community projects to examine the interplay between individuals and their political/ecological environments. Key collaborative works include the Avoidance-Avoidance project (2012–2020), presented internationally through exhibitions and publications.
