Jesper B. Sørensen is the Robert A. and Elizabeth R. Jeffe Professor of Organizational Behavior at Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB), with a courtesy appointment in Sociology at Stanford’s School of Humanities and Sciences. He holds a PhD in Sociology from Stanford (1996) and an AB from Harvard (1989). His research focuses on organizational dynamics, strategic change, entrepreneurship, and social inequality. Notably, he co-founded Sociological Science, an open-access journal, and leads initiatives like Stanford Seed, advancing economic development in emerging economies.
