Jerry Harp is an Associate Professor of the Humanities at Lewis & Clark College, located in Portland, Oregon. His office is in Miller Hall 417, and he can be reached at harp@lclark.edu. During Spring 2025, his office hours are Tuesdays 11:30 AM–1:30 PM, with additional availability by appointment.

Research and Teaching Interests: Harp specializes in Renaissance Literature, Contemporary Poetry, and Poetry Writing. His creative work includes four poetry collections and an edited volume, A Poetry Criticism Reader. He regularly contributes reviews and essays to Pleiades.
Professional Experience: Prior to Lewis & Clark, Harp served as a visiting professor at Kenyon College from 2001 to 2004.
Current Teaching: In Spring 2025, he teaches three poetry courses: ENG 201-F1 and F2 (Poetry 1) and ENG 301-01 (Poetry 2).
