Dr. Jeremy Turner is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader in Fine Art at the University of Chester, affiliated with the School for the Creative Industries within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. He holds an academic rank of Senior Lecturer and has been instrumental in shaping undergraduate and postgraduate curricula since 2007.

His research focuses on practice-based sculptural outputs underpinned by themes of memory, material phenomenology, narrative construction, and the interplay between technology and post-industrial art practices. As a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors, his works are held in private collections across the UK and Europe.
Teaching & Supervision: He leads undergraduate modules in Fine Art, contributes to combined honours programmes, and supervises PhD students. His roles include Deputy Head of Art & Design (2018–2021, 2021–2023) and external examiner roles at institutions like Arts University Plymouth and Open University.
Research Outputs: Includes exhibitions like Conversations in Sculpture (2019) and critical writings on topics such as technological impact on material practices and narrative construction in contemporary art.
