Dr. Jeremy Fyke is an Associate Professor of Communication Studies at Belmont University’s College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences, joining in 2016 after five years at Marquette University. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Communication and Organizational Behavior from Purdue University, with earlier degrees from Texas State University-San Marcos.
His research focuses on leader development, organizational learning, and CSR, emphasizing practical communication strategies to improve real-world outcomes. He teaches courses in corporate social responsibility, crisis communication, and organizational consulting. His scholarship appears in journals like International Journal of Strategic Communication and Journal of Business Ethics, and he co-edited Cases in Organizational and Managerial Communication: Stretching Boundaries (2016).
Dr. Fyke also trains business leaders in executive presence, team communication, and decision-making. His work bridges academic research and professional practice, advocating for ethically grounded communication that serves societal needs.
Outside academia, he enjoys golfing, creating hot sauce, and family life with his wife and daughters. Active in local church communities, he emphasizes service and ethical leadership.
