Jeremy D. Bailey is the Sanders Chair in Law and Liberty and Director of the Institute for American Constitutional Heritage at the University of Oklahoma. He holds a Ph.D. from Boston College (winner of the APSA's E. E. Schattschneider Prize) and a bachelor’s from Rhodes College. His research focuses on early American political thought, constitutional controversies over executive power, and the intellectual history of presidential authority.
