Jeremy Coyle

Jeremy Coyle is a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Law School, Leeds Beckett University, where he has taught for 18 years. A qualified barrister, he specializes in teaching law undergraduates, postgraduates, and journalism students in areas such as Intellectual Property Law, Media and Entertainment Law, and Employment Law. His research focuses on team culture's impact on performance, particularly in action teams (e.g., sports, emergency services), and applies mindset systems to student wellbeing challenges.

• Education: Doctorate in Business Administration (research on team culture and organizational change)

Current research explores how cultural dynamics hinder change management initiatives and investigates psychological frameworks to enhance student well-being. Jeremy supervises PhD candidates in Media Law and Intellectual Property Law. He is based at Broadcasting Place - Humanities (A) Building, City Campus.
