Jeremias Adams-Prassl is a Professor of Law at the University of Oxford and a Tutorial Fellow at Magdalen College. He holds degrees from Oxford (MA, MSt, DPhil), Paris II (DSDFE), and Harvard Law School (LL.M.), and received an honorary doctorate from Lund University. His academic roles include Deputy Director of the Institute of European and Comparative Law and Director of Undergraduate Exchange Programmes (Erasmus). He serves as Dean of Degrees at Magdalen College.
- Research Interests: Focus on Artificial Intelligence regulation, innovation policy, gig economy challenges, and the future of work. His interdisciplinary ERC-funded project on algorithmic management involves collaboration with computer scientists and sociologists.
- Publications: Author of Humans as a Service (OUP 2018), Great Debates in EU Law (Palgrave 2021), and editor of the EU Law in the Member States Series (Hart). His work influences governments, courts, and international bodies like the OECD and ILO.
