Jeremiah Jia Jun LAU is an Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore. He holds a BCL and DPhil from the University of Oxford, where he was awarded the prestigious Merton College Prize Scholarship for research excellence. His work focuses on commercial law, legal history, and equity & trusts, particularly the law of pre-judgment interest and the time value of money in common law contexts.
Education: BCL and DPhil (Oxford), LLB (NUS). He previously served as a Stipendiary Lecturer at Oxford, teaching trusts. His research has been cited by the Singapore High Court and he consults in commercial litigation in the High Court of England & Wales.
Publications include articles in Lloyd's Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly, Cambridge Law Journal, and contributions to Snell’s Equity. He co-edits Asia-Pacific Trusts Law Volume 3 and contributed to the 12th edition of The Law of Trusts (Oxford UP).
