Jens Troelsen

Jens Troelsen is a Professor and Head of Department at the Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark (SDU). He leads the Active Living research unit and is actively involved in research, teaching, supervision, and public engagement.

Research Interests: His work centers on physical activity, active living, and the impact of urban and built environments on health. He investigates health promotion strategies for children, adolescents, and individuals with physical disabilities, with a strong focus on inclusion, measurement, and policy translation.
