معرفی
Prof. Jens Braun leads the Research Group for Strongly Interacting Fermions at the Theory Center, actively engaged in theoretical physics research with significant funding from German national and state-level programs.
His work centers on strongly interacting quantum systems, with primary focus in Nuclear Physics and Condensed Matter Physics. He investigates quantum many-body phenomena in nuclear matter, high-energy density environments, and particle physics contexts, particularly through frameworks relevant to nuclear reactions and extreme matter conditions.
Key recognition includes:
- DFG Heisenberg Fellowship
Current research collaborations encompass the Collaborative Research Center 1245 (nuclear reactions), Collaborative Research Center – Transregio 211 (strong interaction), Extreme Matter Institute, Helmholtz Research Academy Hesse for FAIR, and LOEWE Research Cluster ELEMENTS. These projects address fundamental questions in nuclear theory, quantum chromodynamics, and astrophysical connections to elementary particles.
The research group operates within a major German theoretical physics center, contributing to national research infrastructure in quantum many-body physics.
