Jenny Zhang is a Tutor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, affiliated with the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences. Her research focuses on moral psychology, moral philosophy, and the philosophy of science, particularly exploring methodological critiques of empirical studies in moral psychology and their implications for moral theories. She has been actively involved in academic outreach, including roles in the Edinburgh Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) Chapter and teaching initiatives targeting underprivileged students through programs like the Sutton Trust Summer School.
Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as “Knowledge and Reality,” “Morality and Value,” and “Topics in Mind and Cognition,” reflecting her expertise in ethics, philosophy of mind, and the history of philosophy.
